About us

Redsixty brings together the expertise and talent of its founding directors, Ian Ball and Sheldon Witney. Between them, they have more than 30 years experience of working in Information & Communications Technology (ICT).

Ian and Sheldon met when they worked at Netstore, Europe’s first hosted Exchange Service Provider. A few years later, in 2002, they decided to combine their expertise and complementary skills to create Redsixty. They were determined that first class customer service, tailor-made solutions and added value would be at the heart of their business.

Ian brings a broad range of expertise to Redsixty and has been in the ICT industry for 16 years. He has headed up many large scale projects and was responsible for introducing the Windows 95 System to BT. While doing that, he worked alongside security teams and system integration departments to ensure the seamless deployment of what was then, a very different Operating System to what had gone before. The new desktop environment was successfully rolled out to 18,000 desktops worldwide. He also headed up the Technical Consultancy at Netstore.

Ian has worked closely with companies such as Microsoft and Citrix as both Technical Architect and Business Manger and has played a key role in developing Redsixty’s SchoolTerm service.

Sheldon brings a wealth of technical experience to Redsixty. After graduating from Aston University with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Management Studies, he built a successful career that took in roles at IBM, Dell, Vodafone and Netstore. His wide range of industry recognised technical accreditations include the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Cisco Certified Network Professional.

Since co-founding Redsixty in 2002, Sheldon has helped guide the business to its most successful year ever in 2007.
